Okay, well this is just something I decided to post, since it's (i assume) on of the rarest, and most unusual errors I have encountered.
Recently my controller joystick annoyed me so much that I decided to buy a new one, and thus unplugged my controller from the USB port like usual.
Like what has happened maybe a dozen times before, mhf froze, and I aborted the process using ctrl+alt+del. blah blah.
Perhaps a day later I tried to start MHF and the launcher failed to prompt (that magical white box with the orange button you click before gameguard patches). Well, after reinstalling IE8, MHFO, all activeX controls, and even a return of the original factory settings (wiping the hardrive clean and basically making it a brand new computer again), the same error persists.
The error has no prompts, no warnings, nothing. You can get a taste of this same error situation if you have ever attempted to boot the game with firefox or chrome.
Thus, I am led to the conclusion that it's an error of such massive proportion, that hangame itself has sought out my computer specifically and quarantined it. Actually, I doubt that. It's probably just a bios error.
SO. I believe the last and final option is to basically do another wipe and reinstall a brand new operating system entirely.
It just so happens it will be with a OS that is an upgrade over the one I am using anyway. I can play on my other laptop...but I'd rather have the option of making videos. For the time being I am just too busy to care anyway. Hohoho.
Ok. baiiiii~
P.S.
I <3 yukiibo. <---- creepy. =^_^=
