Here's the deal:
I do nothing to piss him off ingame,
i played MH solo...for as long as I can remember. I even played MHdos, MHPS2 solo, as much of a rage machine that was with some monsters than had seriously imbalanced HP for a single person late game. I taught myself as much as I could about the game without guides until I sought out damage formulas for use with speed runs.
I believe that what get to me...is that thealex02 appears to ignore that this option remains open to him at every possible minute of the day. He hasn't as far as I can remember asked for help on a specific monster other than urgents (fatalis with Power Bow isn't my idea of fair participation on his part). He joins quests and then, sometimes after it has started, asks what the monster is...
He hasn't tried that on any hr100 monsters with me yet, but if he does, and he bring a bow with hr22 kusha gunner armour or some such similarly ignorant action, I swear to god my response will be the same as it always is when he used to do the same for lower ranked monsters:

So as you can see, i do not insult him in game, other than to say "use inven" to find materials or "you don't know the monster name? use google, find a guide" when someone of seemingly competant HR asks.

hmm i gotta say about this.
if someone ask help about this ( even thealex ) i would help in hunt
but i think what we are discussing here is about what we should not do like what thealex did
i did tell him to "remember" monster runes you know

Ok LTTF do what you want I will always think that this game is 90% meant to be played in group and with friends, not solo sorry :\

Arbitrary numbers assigned to opinionated posts do not belong together, but ok.
I didn't say it was meant to be solo'd. However, that is HANDS DOWN the best way to improve your own skill and knowledge of the game. To be honest, as long as he doesn't ask me "what monster" or comes in with a bow and no adrenaline, if I'm doing something he is free to join.
What he should do is check the board for the monster name and then ask "LTR spot for Espinas Orange?" or something. I typically only ask "what u doin" to guild/alliance ppl as they tend to be in different channels or ask if I'm free. That should not be what you do with randoms.
As for what I do with randoms: "Anyone need help, or extra person?"

We don't like him because he is ignorant and lazy. He does not put the effort in. This is an MMO and the difficulty rises, people want to be able to get things done, and SHOULD NOT HAVE TO HOLD THE HAND OF SOMEONE THAT IS HR100 AND HAS LEARNT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
He is so ignorant! Having played for so long and learnt NOTHING. He has made no effort at all - this is why people do not want to play with him.
No one wants to party a mooching, leeching noob that has made no effort and does not know anything about the game apart from how to say "what quest?" and jump random quests without even considering what weapon/armour to take.
There is no excuse for not putting effort in. You do not have to be a prodigy to play this game. ANYONE can learn the monster names and take a little time to figure out how everything works.
He is not willing to put effort in to learn the game, therefore people are not willing to put the effort in to help him.
You reap what you sow.

btw, since when is LTR an asshole? he's friendly, just look at his pic ^_^
that and the whole helping people out kinda thing.
I have played with thealex before, when he was ~hr100, and by that stage you would expect someone to have some skill at the game, considiring how long it takes to get there.
But no, he still brings what looked like one of the basic LBG's on a upper plessioth, and continued to rapid fire shots straight at me and basically stood around on the other side of the map. Still getting hit >.<, the just quits.
Also, he had no idea what he was fighting until he saw it, which is the first thing you would check if you join a quest. I think it's pretty easy to see why people don't like him...

I just calculated would take like, 600~650 Dual Crabs to get to HR100.
That motherfucker must have a world record.
