there is only 2 types of artisan gems
they are both +2 sharpness and 2 slots
one needs rajang gold pelts + mono horns
the other needs nana horns and white mono horns

No alternatives. Except for Sp gems. As smasher said, you're looking at the wrong gem. You need to either read better, or use a better translator. Inven does have a list of all gems, and there are only 3 Artisan gems. The one smasher describes, are your best bets.
You're going to lose a lot of points if you go pure gemming of the skill, you need some armor pieces with the skill in it, or clever mixing.

some SP power up gems are sooo retarded, I never bother making them.
all you need is 12 slots, which you should have with no prob when you max all your pieces

I've got this set now, I just need to upgrade volganos U... You're a little vague on what gems are needed. "the rest is ZOMG gems as well" doesn't help much  While I can find the sharp sword +3/attack+2/stamina -1 gem, the sharp sword G Gem has eluded me so far. I can't find it... what materials are needed? What are the "ZOMG" gems, and how many do I need? P.S The female version looks stupid ;_; |

It is 7 gallery gems, 1 attack up +4 gem, 2 Artisan Gems (+2 artisan). However, you don't get Divine Protection.... You'd have to gem it another way to do that. Normally you get HGE, Attack up Large, +3 Crit, fast Sharpen, +1 sharpness, adrenaline +2. The ones I've seen grab some divine protection usually take on another piece or two to accomplish that. :S crap i'll need one more gallery gem, and upgrade rathian R shoes for 1 more slot ._. too much work shit T.T |

yes, you do need gems to get all the skills
the combo by itself gives only Divine Protection and Earplug
oh and yeah you need to upgrade it aswell

I have no idea since I never wanted to make this armor combo....... but if you click on the Link under More Info / Gem / stats you should find what you want
My guess would be that you need to upgrade SIlver los parts to lv7 coz they get 3 slots at this lv and idk about the rest

The link shows the gems and info Rikku
You need:
6x 강력주 (Kang Lyuk Gem, also called Attack Gallery gem, atk, potential, critical)
1x 장주 (Artisan +2, speedfire +2, something -1 gem) (i think this takes 2 slots for gem)
2x 괴력주 (Attak +4 gem)
3x 영빙주 (these are the also gallery gem, but give ice + fire resistance + snowman resist)
Im making the same armor atm.. but i need Akantor first.
if you want to make the armor with enuff skills active ... you need:
Silver Sol Helm to lvl 6 (gives 2 slots; lvl 7 wil give 3 slots)
Akantor Body to lvl 5 (gives 2 slots, this is max slot, lvl 7 will not give more)
Plesioth to lvl 5 (gives you 2 slots, lvl 7 will give 3 slots)
Akantor Tasset to lvl 6 (gives you 1 slot, lvl 7 you will have 2 slot)
Silver Sol Greaves to lvl 6 (gives you 2 slot, lvl7 will give 3 slot)
so in the end, you will have 9x slots
you can fit 6x Kang Lyuk Gem
1x Artisan Gem
you will have 1 slot open
so at this point you have:
여신의 용서 (Divine Protection)
예리도 레벨+1 (Sharpness +1)
귀마개 (Earplugs)
공격력상승[대] (Attack up large)
간파+2 (Crit+2)
I think ill be doing this too.. so i can move away from SamSinGi armor ><
