As soon as I get into the game for the first time, this has to happen......now I will pray even more for the sale of MHF3 on the PSP will be advertised enough so the sales can go up, and they can think more about releasing a NA version of MHFO.
Anyone want to party up and enjoy the game before we can't play on the server anymore? Add my IGN: Tel'Aket

I am quite aware of MH marketing status/popularity around the world. .Well since you may not be aware, Dynasty Warriors Online made it to the US (After 6-7 years being released in JP) and so did Uhcharted Waters Online, both very popular in JP and not in US. Yet both are being play right now and a bunch of people love it. A F2P game is going to attract more first timers then a console version on a mostly kiddy console (The Wii...) MHFO is no exception, there is always a chance that MHP3 will sell more then expected and that would be a pushing point for a "Globalized" version of MHFO, nothing is immpossilbe in the game market, but it will be up to capcom if they take the gamble or not in the future....so I'll wait and see. I'm still pissed I only got to play KR for a short time before hearin about this, after one day of play and finding a bunch of english speakers, I felt like I found a new home  |

Sad to see MHFO Kr go down the drain but all those delayed updates and no info about the contract renewal earlier this year already hinted at it. Problem i see with an international Free 2 play version is that i suppose MH to be quite an expensive IP to get the rights from capcom.
As for Tri sales figures. ~690,000 sales (US & EU combined) as of July 30, 2010
~1,100,000 sales (Japan) as of July 30, 2010.
Now take a terrible game thats doing amazingly well.
CoD Blops: 3.6 million in the USA alone on launchday!
I see a hundret more terrible online FPS before we ever will get an international release of MHFO =/

So that mean hangay gonna shut down KR server at the end of this year ? NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO , I wont be able to play MHFO anymore . Wait a minute , I havent play MHFO anymore because of the lack of updates , so the shut down will make no difference . lol
