I want to make the Kut-Ku Helm but its not showing up in my crafting. I figure I'm missing a piece but i'm not sure what it is. In the older games it was Blango pelt but the materials for a lot of things seem to be tweaked and changed a bit.

You are not incorrect. screenshot? or just type the material name Problem is there is nothing to screen shot. There is nothing that looks like the Kut-Ku helm in a screen I found of MHFU. But I saw in another forum that it may actually be earrings and therefore not have a picture. The only earrings that take Kut-Ku gear need a rock that I was told can be acquired through pickling on your farm but I don't know how to pickle. The item you need is called "Pumpkin Ore". You take a rock, an ordinary stone, talk to the kitten, pick the option (6th?) with white bucket looking things. Those are "nyaka pots", place the rock in there. Wait for rainbow (take some quick quest and complete ~6x) and take it out for 1 pumpkin ore.

*face palm* See I read all that in another thread but it never seemed to click. Does that head gear actually go with the Kut-Ku armor? And how do I actually put the rock in there?

Erm, i always thought there was no Kut-ku helm but what the fuck am i reading? One of the MH wikis I went to had a helm with the set. And the lack of English resources messes with my head when I go looking for info at like 4 in the morning. Pretty much just me going derp |

You just have the rock in your inven, talk to the cat on the stump. Pick the white buckets, select the individual bucket, then select the rock from your inven and it places it there. You then slap some monkeys for 6 quests and then you get your vegetable stone.
