Question regarding to PVP

In PVP, is a hr 31 khezu stronger than a hr 5 khezu?

I thought they were based on "what" they were, as in their normal or alt versions, with set amounts of stats, along with how their condition was.

...not to mention what you fed it or how much it's fought.

I did some searchs when I discovered PvP, don't know if all then are correct

* A monster species have different stats. A pink rathian will be stronger than a normal rathian of the same HR
* HR have a little stats difference, but a low rank monster, a upper rank monster and a SP monsters have a lot of difference.
Example: A HR31 or less gravios is way weaker than a hr31 red kehzu
* The monster grow in size, attack, defense, HP and obedience based on the food you give
* At the end of the battle, if your monster won it will "grow" faster, if it loses it will grow something like 1/3 if it had won

Why do you use gravios as a comparison? My gravios is hr 17, of course it is way weaker than your red khezu. And how do you know it is weaker when you are using your gun to speed kill it while I am using my weak long sword to try and kill your khezu. This cannot be proven unless we each use the same weapon and do the same amount of hit on it.

I captured a HR 17 Black Gravi, and it can only shot straight laser, no sweeping laser. So I guess there's a difference between low rank, high rank, and SP monster like Alrom mentioned, I'm not sure about HR (SP gravi is more powerful than HR 81 Gravi, and so on) though. So maybe, just maybe, HC pet will have its attacks and stats intact.

I want sweeping Black Grav laser, and I want Red Volga more than anything else ;D

Here I wrote some basic knowledge about PVP pets
1. low rank monster is weaker than high rank ones(of course). But there is no SP monster pet. In short, if you capture a Sp monster as a pet, that Sp monster's stat is just same as 31+ rank monsters(upper rank monsters. that's it, there is no SP pet)
2. Normally sub species monsters are stronger than normal ones are.
3. When you capture a monster as a pet, you can see how strong the monster is on the screen displayed before the reward page shows up.
4. In arena battle, you can give orders to your monster by playing flutes(which can be purchased at the arena shop/the flutes you sometimes use for espinas glitch). for instance if you have a los and you play red flute in arena, your pet will fly up in the air and tries to attack.There are 7~8 arena flutes you can give them a shot.
5.One of importante things to make your pet stronger is Sense of closeness between you and your pet. If you feed right and win the arena game several times, your pet will love you more and that makes your pet stronger. For example, if you have a pet which has highest level of sense of closeness, your pet will attack your opponent in various ways , even if you dont play any arena flute. You can check how close you and your pet are at the arena desk)
6. Sub species never grows sense of closeness to you ( so they are designed to be stronger than normal ones)
7. Gunner with pellet shots are so easy to kill the opponent (not monster) . But, dont do this many times. If you play with your friend, and you use pellet shots, your friend might kill you(this is so annoying )
so... I guess this is all I know about pvp for now, if I recall something other, I will post here again

They should ban guns in PvP, it is overpowered. Thnx for the info btw.
