Suggestion (armor set) for a hr 33 noob

any suggestion of armor set for a hr 33 noob in order to survive the upper quests?
Right now, a hr 5 congalala can 1 hit kill me, hr 11 rathian can just move her tail and killed me. Don't even mention the hr 22 elder dragons, just entered the area and die. Hr 31 espinas killed me in his sleep, and yes literally -_-

with 70 defense and skills like speed eating, poison negated .... my tactic is to hit and run and run away like a kut ku

Kushala set is easy to make,has a decent amount of def,it has cold negate and mainly lance skills,but i'd recommend it to anyone,since the def is decent,and it even has evade +2 if my memory is correct.

you should really go through complete armor list post..theres 1 gunner set n 1 melee set thats good for use untill u hr100 or find better set while u go.Ive use those sets untill ive reach hr100 lol,
do some modification on some parts and the gems...but its a good start for hr31 above ^^

Right now I have got gravios set. Not bad but still low defense

Well at least you're not hacking. I think people just give up at a point because they get sick of being eternal noobs so they hack.

Anyway, at that level I remember making the Samsingi set until I got to hr 100. I worked to make an SP gunner set and just gunned Fatalis until I made full crimson and white Fatalis armor. Or you can always make an early gunner set and work on Fatails armor a lot sooner.

Sure but think of this, would you rather spend espinas stuff on armor or make an awesome weapon out of it ( with poison btw)

Both eh, Cepha? But the problem is that I hate farming, especially espinas ( he is probably on drug when rage )
