I'm not sure what causes that, since it works for me. One of my friends' internet stops working just by starting widecap (according to him, but I doubt he did anything stupid)... If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say it's a problem with your router.

Also there is a very annoying problem.
when i start the game.
and the launcher loads
then it comes
"NGM ? warning"
and closes.
relogging usually helps solve this.
but its starting to happen alot now >_>
and its getting on my nerves,....especially using super slow proxies to load pages ...

Try a different proxy when you get an error. That's why you should make more rules.
And one of the reasons you should turn of the proxy after you log in is because it's going to proxify everything. I know it sucks, but the progam isn't letting me add applications to proxify which is why the guide says you have to check "Proxify all programs".

And as I said, the fact that you crash when you turn off the proxy is most likely related to your router and if that really is the case then there's nothing I can do to help you.

Besides, until nexon fix the netcode the game is going to be unplayable. The average latency is fine, 3-5 bars and no lag, right after a server reboot ("unscheduled maintenance") and then get gradually worse until everyone has 1 bar connections with freezelag and rubberbanding.

Yay, downloaded damn files and during installation got error code -40. Some research showed it means corrupt files or smth like that. Homo nexon doesnt even recognise his own files and wants to download whole thing from the beginning -.-"

FFS, downloaded again with another browser and into another folder and yet again, error code -40. No Vindictus for me I guess.

Downloaded and Installed, but i cant play coz fo the message "You have been disconnected from the server" or something like this.
D: i know it is for porxy...

Here download this: www.proxifier.com/download.htm
then go to this for US proxy: sockslist.net/proxy/server-socks-hide-ip-address#proxylist

1: Open Proxifier
2: Choose Options
3: Choose Proxy settings
4: Click Add
5: Copy the Address from the link i gave [choose an IP] and also copy its port and select the SOCKS Type [the link i gave has the "TYPE" of socks, either 5 or 4]
6: click OK
7: Try clicking West Server

Try different Proxies

Then when u are ingame, Disable the Proxy during Character Creation or Character selection.[Note: do not exit proxifier program or u get disconnected]

I tried one last time, this time with the downloader somebody uploaded here. The game is patching right now ^^, hopefully there are no more problems.
So how do these servers work? Do they share data or are independent? I mean can I play in east with the player i have in west?

Unfortunetly, no
the characters are independant in the servers
if u hav a LV11 character in west server
you wont have the same character in the east server
