Yes, they are different things. I just hate how the Japanese and their foreign words may not go with the exact same sound in English. My mistake for taking things literal.
Just be sure to keep us updated with videos and such when you get them.

but yeah, katakana is wayyy easier than hiragana imo.... most of kata makes sense to me but hira and kanji... oh man
