the bottom left squares you mean?
those are hotkeys just go to your menu, first option. choose a usable item (whetstone potions etc) and choose fourth option, then press what F key you want it to be on

lol u need to go for water cooling... or place fans next to your computer  my laptop was on my bed when i was playing once.. and it started giving me that 'matrix-virus'.. i immediately got off, picked up my fan and turned it to high-speed.. whew..~ in time, i was able to prevent a shutdown while doing a gathering quest.. lol |
