It dug underground and the quest must have ended because Beru isn't allowed to do that.

That grass is a special barrier, it take cut damage to get rid of it. That is to say I've never tried hitting it too much with a hammer, shooting it, or bombing it.
So I could very well be lying out my gloriously foxxy ass.
However, it's on some beru quests blocking paths here and there including the path into the cave from the oasis, and cut damage destroys them in one hit. Unless you suck. These things you can be sure of.

Buuuuut it's not the "Barrier" that's bugging me. It's just not supposed to "look" like that. I've already know what the grass is for and what it does, It's just... creeping me out.
Grass just doesn't become 2-D at will. That's breaking laws of space and time!
...or something like that.
