The same reason that brings people to Frontier is what will take them to mhp3rd.
New things to do, new features, and shit to kill.

Take a look at all the videos.
Two new weapon 're-dos', bunch of monsters to kill, armours to make, weapons to make.
If I'm not mistaken, that's practically the whole Monster Hunter experience in a nutshell. The rest is all a bonus to exploring what this portable iteration brings as an expanded take on Tri's mechanics.

No. Will MHF upgread? Yes with? Season 8.0 and 9.0. With what? With more weapons armors, cities and beasts. Anyways, it's a matter of opinions in the end.

I'm not trying to give you a reason to buy it.
Where the balls did I say "buy it for it has these features and shit"?
You are on an ego trip, man. All I said was people will go for it because of those things, if you are not one of those people then who the balls cares? The people playing it will find ways to enjoy it or play Frontier after a dose of 3rd, kind of how people are free to do what they want at any time of day.

Considering MHF will most likely never have portable third exclusive monsters/weapons/features and vice versa, the "which game should I stick with" argument is pretty pointless. How about playing both? Did this ever cross your mind?

(Completely my own opinion, view, etc.)
I'm surprised; REALLY Surprised at you Raikosteff.
Yeah, Frontier will have new stuff added in time, but what about taking the game with you and playing with people NEAR you? (or unless you're going to be using Xlink Kai/Ad-Hoc on ps3)
Portable MH is playing with your friends and getting out there and actually, well.. you know, "get away from sitting behind the computer" and it also helps advertise the series more if you play in public places. Unless you play Frontier and take it with you on a laptop, not many people will care all that much for it in general or even know about it.
I am not trying to say, "Hey, go get that game" or anything, but "a waste of my money" seems like a lame excuse. The Portable versions are meant to allow people to play the game with little to no trouble and give you the chance to try new stuff you can't fight on Frontier, because what if you never even got a chance to play Frontier? Would you still get P3rd?
Although, it's like any game that has a series; Some games have better stuff then others (The Mario series) so what it really comes down to, is what you like and enjoy in general. I'm downloading the iso, but even then when I can snag some cash, I'd even have the umd imported, because it's the series I love, not just "one game" because it'll get updates all the time.
You make it sound as if Frontier is the only game in the series you will ever play. Also understand I'm not trying to make it sound "rawr rage mode chat grrr hiss" sounding or anything, but it kinda hit a soft spot in me.
On that note, I completely respect your opinion if you still only want to play Frontier though.

First of all I wish I could have 8.388.604 of karma rofl Then, man lets be clear; when we ang out with friends, it not to go and play some MHP3 aright? We do it to go and have some drinks or see some women boobies and stuff. MH is one of those games that you wanna play alone (but online) at night with a cup of peanuts and a glass of coke. And above all: one of those games you wanna conecntrate into it. Its not like a cod that you can either play for 2 hours or just for 25 minutes, if you are in a hurry. MHP3 wasn't made for the purpose you mentioned, it was made for when you need to go on a trip, you have your psp there. I understand that people may like it, but here all of you are desperate to get it! Its like if MHP3 was someting innovative, something the MH series never seen before.
And man, there are things you can discuss and other things you can't. IF you can play Frontier, why would you play anything else (any MH)? For me, the fact that it comes with new monsters, isn't en excuse to buy it, what else can I tell you. And also its not an exuse to go mad for it.
Anyways, cepha youre coooooooly cool.

You are making arguments with yourself at this point.
For whatever reason you are all up on Frontier's ball sack because it's new for you while punching people in the face that just want to play an expansion on the series, i.e. 3rd, because of the new armours/weapons/monsters. That's some truly oddball reasoning you have at work there and I'm somewhat puzzled by it to be frank.
From my angle you make ZERO sense.
It's almost as though it's a travesty for some people to be genuinely excited about something you aren't excited about. Stop being a killjoy.

REGARDLESS OF THAT SILLINESS... Yes, this shouldn't get derailed, because MHP3rd is the main topic instead.
Score! Got a patched "5.00 M33-6 Pro-4" and it's working lovely. I like the new main menu.
Finally, all that waiting paid off...
NO, IT CAN'T BE! NOT A THUNDER 'NOX! GYAAAHHHHHHH!

Here's the leaked MHP3rd.... www.megaupload.com/?d=EG00WDV0That password protected by some Japanese guys (I think) If someone could provide a link,at least to the EBOOT.BIN to see if is playable yet, would be appreciated
