600 hours isn't much ><; Perhaps try a different weapon. You're telling me that 25 straight days worth of playing isn't that much experience? Also I feel most comfortable with long swords. They have a very long reach, almost that of a lance. The backstep slash is an amazing feature to have and it's saved my ass on too many occasions to recall. Couple that with decent attack power and sharpness, and fast attack speed, and you've got yourself a damn good weapon. When compared to well over 2k hours, on five different titles in the series...? Mh1, MhG, Mh2 Dos, MHF, MHF2... [Thats 2k each title if you didn't understand] And the ongoing time spent on Mhfu and MHfO... No 600 hours isn;t much at all I'm sorry. Being comfortable with a weapon doesn't mean it's the weapon you're gonna shine with, I used to roll hammer and lance. Damn good with them too, but I find I'm even better with SnS. So, all I can say is work harder and attempt different weapons... Also, tell me that you bring flashes and at least a few traps when you Solo...? If not, then lol...

Chaos, even when it charges repeatedly, you have ample time to get a hit and dodge. I'd say the closest exception to his is an enraged gold rathian, unless you know how to dodge that one when enraged whilst hitting.
If you're having trouble fighting rathian now, you're never going to be able to hit an Espinas whilst charging.
Again, I say you shouldn't be solo'ing.

Judging by the fact that I've never even heard of an Espinas until MHF, yeah, I probably won't. No 600 hours isn;t much at all I'm sorry. Okay, the next time somebody I know puts that kind of time(Nearly a month of constant playing, come on) into a game I'll let them know their efforts are in vain.

You could have used those 600 hours doing something constructive, like building an epic cardboard box fort.

Since when is a month even a long period of time, come on really? You could have used those 600 hours doing something constructive, like building an epic cardboard box fort. Damn you're right, I hear those are in high demand these days!

600 hours is a fucking long time to put into a game, unless you spend every waking moment on your PSP.
He meant it would equate to a month nonstop, as in without sleeping, 600/24 = 25 days.

I know what he meant Yukiiko, even a month just living day to day flies by like nothing, playing a game it goes by faster.[playing it every waking moment or not] The timespan of 600 hours[25 days] isn't that long .-.

On a vidya game it is. 600 hours, that's a big ass chunk of your time. Average school days are 6 hours, so that's like not going to school for 100 days and playing monster hunter instead =P ah, what a life.

Ah I was so blessed to be homeschooled...
Somehow I have a feeling none of you are really big -gamers- if you consider 600 hours a long time on any game with even half the content of even one of the monster hunter games...

Being a "big gamer" has nothing to do with one's conception of a long period of time. I'm unemployed, all I do, day in, and day out, is play video games, eat, sleep, and pee.

If you consider 600 hours a long time on such a content rich game, then you don't game much, or even understand what big gaming is.

Sarcasm is unbecoming of you. So back to the subject of making Soloing easy for you?
Full load of traps, and flashes. Even bring extra stuff to make flashes. Since you're getting hit a lot you're gonna need them. If you'd rather not use them, then work at getting hit less.
Up your equips as high as you're able, armor and weapon of choice. If they require Ian pieces, ignore that.
Just to see if I had the same issue I tossed on leather S and a deathprize[think thats the one] and started up an Ian quest... Yeah she charged a lot, but she still died rather fast.
If you still have trouble with all the tips, then PM me ingame or something and I'll assit you with farming her. Sound good?

Sarcasm is unbecoming of you. So is elitism. But no, I've gotten what I needed from Ian already. I get the point that MHF isn't the game to be soloing in. Will remember that.
